Yea, if you can.
And make sure it is the correct format for the BB, convert if needed and transfer to the Media Card.

how do i assign a ringtone to a contact. i have the ringtones downloaded but cannot seem to load a different tone for different contacts

Pull up your contact list. Then highlight the contact that you want to have a custom ring and hit the menu button. scroll down and you will find "Add custom phone tune"
