Keypad/Trackball won't work after water damage

My keypad and trackball will not work on my Blackberry Curve 8900 after submerging it into water. ;-( Everything seems to work fine though EXCEPT my keypad and trackball. It powers on, wifi connects and even can see calls as they come thru but I cannot CLICK with the trackball or use keys on keypad to answer or do anything.

My question is this----Will changing out the keypad and trackball take care of this or do u think its a deeper issue? Thanks for your help! If anyone has had success stories, I'd love to hear it. I'm willing to change it out if its worth it!

Deeper issue. I would advise dropping the 8900 and getting something else, even if it is another 8900. You will be plagued by issues more than likely if you keep that phone.
