I have a pearl 8130, I am now on my third pearl and I am a little frustrated. My keypad tones were off since I have gotten this phone. Now, all of a sudden, the keypad tones have decided to become audible. I went into my options under screen/keypad and the tone option says they are off (which the obviously are not). Does anyone know a remedy for this small annoyance?? Thanks

I don't think that you can turn off the tones for dialing.

I believe the only way that the key tones aren't audible is when the phone is on vibrate or silent.

My keypad tones are set to "off" and they don't make any sounds regardless of what sound profile I am set at. Did you try doing a battery pull after changing your settings?

I'd suggest a battery pull as well. Key tones off means they are supposed to be off no matter what profile you select.
