Not sure if this is connected to an upgrade, but looking to find answers from anyone who has experienced this:

I have an 8900 Curve that is like-new, always protected from the elements and never dropped, actually used very little.

Recently the keypad and trackball are unresponsive. I can scroll with the trackball, but nothing else will work; not the keypad or trackball clicking

Anyone have this with any line of Curves, or with the 8900?

I suggest bringing it to your carrier to have it checked up on, or if the warranty is void, a repair shop. Sounds like a hardware defect. Have you tried a battery pull? I use a 9700.
