I just got my blackberry off Ebay. I want to lock my keyboard but I am afraid to because I don't know what the password would be to turn it back on (if you even need one..sorry I am new to blackberry!!) Is there a way I can change the password?
locking the keyboard doesnt require a password, but locking the phone does. if you dont have the password for the phone, go to options>security>general and enable the password. then input the wrong code ten times to wipe the phone of the password. then you get to create a new password. it will wipe the phone completely, so make sure you do a backup on the desktop manager first and then restore after.
