I have a Curve 8320, had it for over a year and now I got a little water on the keyboard. Some keys work, some do not, but the TrackBall works fine. I have already voided my warranty, and I already let it sit out and dry for a day. Is it possible that replacing the entire keyboard assembly would correct this issue? If not, what can I do? Searched the forums, but could not find if anyone had success by replacing the keyboard assembly in its entirety. Thanks.

pull the battery out and put the phone in a ziploc with rice in it.. give it 24 hours at least and put the battery back in. that might do the trick

I would use sofaking's suggestion if that wasn't the method of drying that you used. It's still worth a shot.

I disassembled the device and looked it over carefully. After looking at it, I am confident that replacing the keyboard assembly will not solve the problem... looks like I'm SOL ... just the reason I needed to get the 8900
