Hello Crackberry Forum,
I recently updated my Blackberry Q5 to OS 10.2.1.537. It was a pain as Blackberry Link kept failing several times and I finally did so through Blackberry's website. On the 'About' screen it says I have Software Release: 10.2.1.537. However when I go to 'Software Updates' it says 'Update Available' to 10.2.1.537? What gives? As well my Blackberry gives me notifications everyday that my update failed as the download is too large?
Why does this happen? And how do I confirm to the OS that this OS is installed so it stops giving me this notification everyday and it no longer shows in 'Software Updates'.
When I plug in my Q5 to 'Blackberry Link', and check for 'Software Updates' it shows I have the latest available device software.
BTW, I am with Rogers if that helps at all.

I think it will stop sending notifications eventually. I had a BBM upgrade bugging me for a month. Didn't do it because I was on the bata. It eventually went away.

Ya I had that same problem before with some apps. So annoying. Trying doing a restart?

it's installing carrier specific software that you are deleting.
