Is there a way on a Blackberry (Bold 9650 for instance) to take an attachment from an e-mail and simply save it to the desktop where the icons like Messages, Browser, Contacts are? No using memory cards. Just a one-click to an Excel file is all I'm looking for. I did install Documents to Go but that hasn't helped accomplish the goal.

If you have QuickLaunch, you can at least create a quick shortcut to it. Great paid application, not too expensive, and well worth the money.

As stated above, what you are trying to do cannot be done with the aid of a third party app. QL would be the best way to do this.
