    When I have received updates in the past, I have usually had a notification pushed to my phone. For no particular reason, today I ran the �check for updates� feature, and was shocked to see a new software update available. It�s only 27MB, but whatever it is I�ll take it. It is 7.1.0.2879.

    Actually rather surprising, as Sprint wasn't always the best for updating their BB line.

    It was shocking especially given that they have not released BB10 10.2.1. To get an OS 7 update, no matter small, was not something I anticipated. At some point in the future I will most definitely be upgrading to the Q10 or Q20 if that one is carried by Sprint, so they need to get that 10.2.1 out ASAP.

    I just found this, apparently it was released on March 12th: Find and update the software version on your BlackBerry Bold 9930

    One correction, the version is 7.1.0.1066. The bundle is 2879.
