I'm on ATT and just bought the Z30....should be here tomorrow. This time a month ago I was on the Galaxy Note 3....Android was getting annoying and inefficient so I powered back up my Z30....i'm looking forward to the big screen and being able to load Android apps...plus I've heard its the best phone out there. Can't wait.

What will be the process in terms of loading 10.2.1 or really the latest OS?

You definitely won't regret it. Install Snap asap. There's tutorials in the forums that show you how and it's pretty easy. I used the Google Chrome PlayBook Extension. Before you do anything you should install BlackBerry Link on a computer, update to latest software and perform a backup.

I know it's hard not to start playing with the phone once you get it and install all your accounts, but the update/backup should be done first and backup again once you've installed everything.

First activate on AT&T and make sure it fully functions because I had issues with my Q10, then go to the Z30 forum and find you a leak to use. I prefer autoloaders because it's easier. Then install Snap at http://forums.crackberry.com/android...taller-902493/ and enjoy

The Z30 shipped from SBB is supposed to handle some LTE bands from AT&T not all of them. AT&T has updated to 10.2.1 anyways so no need to install a leak. I wanted to do this too but I kinda feel at this point it's not worth 499 when we are months away from new devices coming out (hopefully) ... holding back for a while with my Z10. Enjoy your z30!

It depends on where you are. In most places, no, because this Z30 does not have LTE band 17 (AT&T's primary LTE band.) In the places they have band 4 LTE--big cities like LA and Chicago, amongst others--yes. They also have band 5 LTE active in a handful of places, but that number is relatively negligible.
