I was never a pkb fan till the passport, but always hammered over the Q5s they looked fun but practical, don't know why the Q10 looked boring, but never used either.

    Swiped on my beautiful Passport!

Q10 everyday. I have both. Ended giving the Q5 to my girlfriend. She enjoys it though.

From Passport with Love (and sometimes my Q10 with love too)

Yeah, of the two, the Q10.

Of any BB10 phone, the Passport, though.

I wouldn't rule out the Classic if you like the pkb newer than Q10 and still fits pockets well .

I prefer tbe Q5 keyboard, but the reduced storage is annoying.

On the plus side, it cost less than 100 when I bought mine almost a year ago.

Yeah I totally agree with that, but right now just consider about the price (classic price right now still higher than those BlackBerry ) since this BlackBerry will use for my wife and the spec no need "too high"

If the cost is almost the same, then Q10. If the Q5 is significantly less expensive, then Q5. You should budget for a skin or case for the Q5 because the plastic is slippery.

If they cost the same, then Q10 it is. Easy decision. The latest BlackBerry 10 update seems to have remedied the double typing issue on the Q10.

Q10 is a better phone, Q5 has a better keyboard but is definitely the most slippery phone I've ever held.

The HTC One was almost as slippery.

I don't know how many times I dropped the Q5. Good thing it's a tough phone.

Owned both of them. The Q5 has got better battery life, better keyboard (imo) and better screen. Storage wise, specs are equals. If you don't need a lot of storage the Q5 is a better choice overall, also considering its price.. And.. you can find it in red too

Having used both extensively (Q5 over a year, Q10 for about 6 months), I'd say Q10. You cannot beat that keyboard. Also, updating the Q5 was always a pain due to insufficient storage space.

When I bought the Q5 it was with the intention of swapping it on and off with my Z10. That lasted all of a week because every time I picked up the Q5 I was too paranoid I would drop it.

Q10, Got it on the first day Verizon offered it and still going strong, never had a problem with it hardware or software wise. GREAT PHONE. I recommend it to anyone.

There is no real reason to get the Q5 over the Q10 when they are both super cheap around the same price. Even at the launch, the Q5 was not cheap enough to be considered over the Q10.

As for double typing in Q10s, the latest software update has fixed the issue.

If something goes wrong in a Q10, it is so much easier to take the phone apart compared to the Q5. The user replaceable battery allows me to keep the phone longer than the life of the original battery.

For me, only the Q10 will work since I need the 4400mah extended battery.

I like the Q10, but the software fix will only solve double-typing. It won't fix hyper-sensitive keys (where you can't touch anywhere near a key on the keyboard without it registering an input).

As for the slipperiness of the Q5, Skinomi makes a nice carbon fiber skin. I have one on my HP Pre3 and it's held up perfectly.

Yeah that's why ask in here (based on user experience) so the problem (double typing) still not solve in q10 ya?
