The iPhones are the important ones,
especially for business. "That's where I
try to build my brand," he says. If you're
an aggressive sports fan, or someone
he runs into who asks for a phone
number, you get the BlackBerry number.
Which he rarely answers.
Ouch!

Yeah everywhere you look BlackBerry is more and more NOT The smartphone for professionals.

Don't tell that to the folks at Blackberry.

Perhaps he takes the "BB phone as junk folder" concept to another level?
One iPhone for real friends and family, the other iPhone for contacts and business. Only difference is that both of the iPhones "matter" and I'll bet he checks both constantly. ;)
Lol..good thing you don't take these threads personally.
Did you think NBA players rocked BB 24/7?

First, why does anyone care which phone he carries?
Second, he doesn't sound very smart (especially if he's claiming to be portraying himself to be smart at tech) if he carries a phone around specifically for the reason of not using it except to check messages from a certain phone number. He could use ANY phone for that . He could give out a google voice number.
Third, why does he carry a 2nd Iphone? In case the battery on the first one dies? in case the first one bends?
Fourth, why would the article (from a sports web site) insert a last sentence about "smart phone wars" let alone a random dig at BlackBerry? Are they that immature and petty? (oh, wait, it's a sports web site, forget that question.)
Fifth, what is a smart phone war and who wins it? What.....exactly....do they win? And how in the world is that good for consumers....(i.e. anyone who buys a phone) if one company wins this "war"?
You don't see people saying "gosh, I wish one airline would win the airline wars so I don't' have to keep making choices". I'm sick of competitive pricing.....it's so un-cool." (looks at hair in the mirror while polishing his Apple logo'd device).
Wonder what type of man-purse he uses to carry all three devices. I do give him props for carrying a Classic tho.
