I had a user ask me by via email
...."is the version of Java the same or different on each model of Blackberry? I believe the answer to the second question to be yes. The final question is if there is an easy way to figure out the version of Java that each Blackberry is running?"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    You could try optons>about.

Actually on my 7250 I can go to options/advanced options/applications and my BB shows me the version of Java I'm running. When I tried this on one of my users 8830 I did not get the same results. Is there one specific way to find this out either on the users device or on the BES?
