You can't play music from ITunes natively on the BB as the files are protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management)
You may want to do a google search for a converter of some type. I use SoundTaxi, but I don't know if it works on your OS
You can remove DRM protection by burning the songs to CD and re-ripping them back to iTunes as MP3s. Just do a Google search on how to remove iTunes DRM protection. Keep in mind that you only have to do this for music you PURCHASED from the iTunes Store. If you just copied your CDs to iTunes, all you have to do is drag the .m4a files you want to use to your desktop and then plug your Curve in via USB and enable Mass Storage Mode. Then it is as simple as dragging from your PC to your Music folder on your SD Card.
I used to do that, but personally I find the software approach much easier. I don't have to write a cd, then rip the cd, then do it all over again, and then again.
I load SoundTaxi, select my files and just let it run. If its a lot of them (I have over 600gb of music) I let it run and go to bed.
That is a **** load of MP3s.
Sorry to jack the thread... Amazing or anyone else who can answer have a good place for album covers? I want to use them for Cover flow in iTunes.
One of the reasons why I'll purchase iTunes music over d/ling is due to not having the album cover.
iTunes actually has a built-in feature called "get album art". It downloads the art for songs that are tagged correctly (name and album title). It's under the advanced menu in itunes.
That is a ton of music.
Which Is why I don't do the burn and rip method
I'd have to quit my job :)
Can't answer that one, I use Windows Media Player and they download automatically.
and now you know why I almost never participate in the "what kind of music you like" threads.
That would be the mother of all posts. I got stuff in languages I can't even identify, but I like nonetheless.
