I just read in the paper that Apple iTunes is removing the DRM from all songs in its lobrary starting today. In addition, they are coming out with a new tiered pricing plan. That's great news!!

Yea that's good they finally did that having to reencode stuff to remove drm was annoying. 1.29 for some songs though im sure its gonna be like the hits.

Yeah, looks like they will charge .30$ per song, .60$ for music videos and 30% of the value for a full album....will make putting tunes on my Curve easier but I don't know if I can jutify that cost. I would post the article I found on CNN, but I'm not allowed to until 10 posts, but to sum it up; 231 files taking over 7 hours? No thank you!

They are going to a three tier price structure for their tunes. The most expensive will be over a dollar. But it will eliminate the need to convert these songs for those who purchase music from them.
