Even so, at 200$us, the Leap is not a bad device.
No, it's a pretty horrible device for 200 USD in December 2015. Not just bad... literally words cannot describe horrible.

The LG G2 with quad core Snapdragon 800 has been sub 200 USD for some time and now there are a lot of old Snapdragon 800/801/805 flagships to choose from. Even at the ultra ultra low end we have quad core 64-bit Moto E (2015) for like 100 USD.

You can't find a phone that is a much worse value than the LEAP unless you force one of those bad iPhone comparisons.

Ya duly noted, but then you are stuck with yet just another Android. I have a quad core android tablet and I don't find it any quicker than my Q5 which I got for about $80 us.

Regardless, the only person I know that has a Leap, also has an iPhone 6 and I see him use the Leap more often. You forced me to mention that.

I can also get a Kia with better specs than my Chevy for less money, but I buy Chevy anyway.

    Enjoy your LG.

BlackBerry can't compare with android, even with lower hardware spec ( with combination BlackBerry 10 os) the lag cases which we often meet in android devices ( memory management problem) I personnaly never meet those problem in my BlackBerry devices

Besides screen size, how much different really was the iPhone 5 to the 6? Did they all not have a paltry 1GB of RAM? I think one could even argue the build quality of the 6 was inferior to the 5s as well. Apple, the masters of marketing, seemed to do ok offering their customers, essentially a larger screen device with inferior build quality. For more money....brilliant really. Lastly, BlackBerry 10, like Apple, is no where near as resource and spec hungry as Android. The BlackBerry 10 devices on dual core and with chip noted have done nothing but improve with each new OS update. I don't even think Apple can tout this, with older devices since moving to 2GB of RAM in 2015.
Well I think it's same with our BlackBerry devices because they made both "software and hardware" even with lower "spec" soc and RAM apple still smooth, in 2015 I still use my iphone 4s and I still satisfied with that apple beast

Of course I know that. Yet, that's precisely what BB chose to do.

Obviously hard-core BB10 fans won't even look elsewhere, so for them, the Leap only competes with the Z10 and Z30. But the vast majority of potential customers compare all relevant options, and as you've said, BB can't compete.
... on device specs. What about OS specs and features (not ootb app catalogue) ?

It still wins there, at least for me and more than a few others... :-)
