Full price of the phone and financing charges are paid by the customers..Thats why they don't care if you leave after three months..its an unlocked for the customer...Please understand the details before you reply

Nice try. First you claimed that T-Mobile's deal with Apple was different than others, and that Apple "bent over." Yet now you admit that Apple still gets its money, just not from T-Mobile. Instead, you claim, it comes from finance companies, who make upfront payments to Apple and then charge the customer (that's how finance companies work, after all). So, it's not a carrier subsidy but a finance company subsidy (again, according to you). Here's the problem: you previously claimed that Apple was now selling the phone "without subsidies," yet your post acknowledges that the phone is still a subsidized purchase as far as Apple is concerned. So which is it? Is the phone sold without subsidies, thereby reversing your later post, or is it sold with subsidies, thereby reversing your earlier post?

Now, maybe you meant "unlocked", but you didn't say that. You said "without subsidies." There is a difference, after all.

Not true .... T mobile is not subsiding the cost of the phone and is not paying the price for iphone from its own pocket unlike others... its directly financed by other financial companies. Completely wrong, if you cancel prior to paying off the phone the balance is due. They get their money either way.

Of course it is...they are not giving it away for three months of the payment...but it's due to financing company not to T mobile..

Ah. So if the phone is unsubsidized, what is th purpose of the finance company in your earlier post? I mean, if the phone is unsubsidized, then clearly the finance company isn't paying Apple. Yet they'd have to pay someone, otherwise they wouldn't have the right to accept payments. So are you now reversing your claim about financing?

I see it as a dead end for anyone that can't differentiate hardware and capabilities enough to command higher handset prices. The OS'es will all basically have the same features.

This seems to be one of BlackBerry's issues; they tout OS features, which are not what most of the consumer market ooos and aaahs over. Consumers like sexy hardware and features that allow the device to "do more". Like car integration, and integration with popular services.

Apple's OS is just a prerequisite for playing the game. Hardware and services (apps) are what sell iPhones.

Does Apple still get paid? Yes. What's your point?
