I jus got a new blackberry and went directly to my carrier to get a data plan. its been a week and the GPRS at the top right hand side of the screen is still in lower case. I went back to the carrier and had a tech there look at the problem, he said the internet is locked and therefore its not connecting with their connection. I dont understand this because its an unlocked phone which works well with all sims and i can send and receive sms messages and calls just fine. Can anyone help me in unlocking the internet, if that's what needs to be done???

The person whom you purchased the device from needs to contact his/her carrier to release the PIN. Until this is done, you cannot register the device on BIS.
