I've had my Blackberry Curve 9320 for over a year now and I'm not certain if its age that causes this or is it the phone itself being plain stupid.

I was sending a friend a message and when I tried adding an angel face 'O' it magically disappeared. I took it for granted but when I re-typed it in and sent the message a small box that read 'OBJ' was beside the other angel face I typed , I'm also running v.7.1.0.821 and have the latest update for BBM , could someone explain what's going on?

Do you have a screenshot app? I'd love to see what you mean.

And in which environment are you seeing the error box? In BBM, or in Messages app?

It sounds like you are trying to add an OBJECT that BBM does not recognize. Are you using the standard emoticons in BBM or are they from a third party app?

I'll get a screenshot soon , no its in the bbm app itself and Elite it's appearing in both the messages and bbm app?

Just curious here, were one of you trying to insert an emoji? Is user that generated the "OBJ" using a BlackBerry? I am still of a mind that whatever that is it is because the BlackBerry OS does not recognize it.
