    Well it really depends on what you like.

    For me, here are my top 2:
    IM+ lite (really loving it)
    WhatsApp for across platform like BB to HTC etc etc.

    Yahoo Messenger. What it doesn't have: D/R notification. What it does: allow up to 5mb file transfers between BB and Android. 8mb Android to Android. Virtually unlimited computer to Android. Unsure about the limits of computer to BB.
