If my 9850 broke, I would just pull my 8530 out of my drawer, hook it up to Desktop Manager, and restore. Poof! Up and running again with a BB!

Who hasn't thought of that question? And I would stay with BB. What it does, it does great, and I have a few useful apps. Anything else, there are tablets or a computer.

If my 9900 broke, I'd first resort to my backup 9700, then wait for the new 9900 to arrive via insurance. My BBs have always performed just as I've needed them to.
