Hi guys! Wish ya all a Happy New Year 2011!

Okay back to story. If you were to buy a new BB and you plan to sell the current BB you have now, where will you sell to?

In my country, as far as I know my carrier don't buy second hand phones unless I sell it to the dealer.

So my options are pretty limited which is either sell to any dealer who can give me a good price (which I doubt that), selling it on eBay, or...anything else you can think of?

    What's your say on this?

I would just Craigslist it and put it up on various forums that have for sale sections...

I chose sell it to a retailer or eBay.

I would not sell it to a friend. Let's say something goes wrong with the phone, maybe an error from his side, he will always blame u for selling him a crappy phone and u mind end up losing each other over a phone.

I'm either going to use Ebay or Amazon to sell my 9700.

Well I sold my 9700 to a friend. That was just the quickest and easiest way for me. If you have a friend that is offering a good price then sell it!

Nice! However, I go agree that selling to friends is the easiest as we can get a very good price. However, the price comes with a con which is, like what others said, any problem and they will blame us. thanks for replying guys

Just preparing to decide when the new Torch like phone will be out and I am going to try it. Not now though...still with 9700

I would use eBay or Craigslist. Ive bought and sold many phones on both, and both are effective if you know what you're doing.

I opt for forums like this one, and then Craigslist at the same time. If you find a niche, like this one, you find people that are looking for specific devices. I choose Craigslist because it is often a quick meet, and cash is always accepted.

I would use Craigslist, since I could meet the buyer in a store and get cash from the buyer. I would not trust eBay, since seller protection has been diluted in the past year.

Another vote for craigslist. I've had good experiences using it.

My old devices ususally end up on ebay, i tend to get more cash there. Even after selling fees and what not.
