I'm just asking these questions because I'm pretty much just new to this BB thing and I have no clue what to get. But I do want like the newest, best one, so that's why I'm asking.

Also, I looked around the Rumor Threads a bit and I can't seem to find an answer...but is there a new BB coming out anytime soon? Or is there like a new BB that's SUPPOSE to come out anytime soon?

first of all, what carrier are you with? the 9700 is the best Berry produced at this time, but if youre on VZW or another CDMA carrier youll have to choose another device

Like pilsbury says - what carrier are you with? That would help all of us help with your question.

ATT & TMO have the Bold 9700 which is top of the line. Verizon & Sprint don't have that - but will be getting the Bold 9650 soon.

Best Overall BB: Right now, probably the 9700.
    Best BB For Business: 9700.
Best BB For Personal: 8530. But I would say the Pearl 3G will replace that.
    Your Fav. BB/Why: I love my 8530.

I agree. All Blackberries do all the things you mentioned very well. It's just a matter of personal taste.

    GSM- 9700
    CDMA - 9630 (currently), 9650 (future)

A lot has to do with what you want. BlackBerries, by design, all work almost exactly the same, so in all honesty the best BB is the one that you like the most. My buddy's 8520 can do the same things my 9630 can do, with a few differences here and there, camera, trackpad, WiFi, 3G, etc, but other than those things, they operate exactly the same.

Think about what you want, and the design you like, and pull the trigger on that one.

9700 for just about all you mentioned...I use it as my personal and business phone and has never let me down...

Supposedly there is a touchscreen/qwerty coming out down the road, but not sure when...basically a 9700 with OS 6.0 and better browser...might be worth the wait..

I think that all of the BlackBerry devices are equally good for business. Which BB is the best overall? Well, that's a little subjective. It would be predicated on which form factor you like the best. My personal favorite is actually the BB that I have never had the chance to own and that's the Storm 2. I have the Tour and it is rock solid. You really can't go wrong with any BlackBerry you choose though. Good luck with the shopping. And welcome to CB.
