options-security options- bb button-wipe handheld. dependant on your bb you may need to go to general options after security or it may have wipe in security without havin to hit bb button

No. Deleting actually removes them from memory.

The best way to revive your Curve is with the Device OS software and Applications Loader. It allows you to upgrade or replace the software.

Use the Options... button in Applications Manager to choose.

I got as far as ......

    application loader
    add/remove applications (or) update applications/advanced
    options

then none of the options under the "options" menu seem to be what I need.

    any ideas?

    Use Add/Remove Applications.

The Option Button appears on the Application Loader page.

Select each of: Delete all applications data
    Erase all currently installed applications.
