    hi,

    if i send a bbm message to a BB device which is off, will the user still receive the messages when they switch the BB ON?
    The sent message is not marked with D (delivered).

    Hi cdiluca,

    It's normal for the message to not be marked as delivered, because it in fact hasn't been delivered.. it can't be until the recipients device is on. However when it does get turned on, it should be delivered and your 'D' should show up accordingly!

    Hi welcome to CB!

    The phone will attempt to resend the message (not sure how many times and how often). In most cases it gets delivered once connection has been established or the device turned back on.

    Yeah... once you sent the message, there is no way to delete it.

    I was aware that the messages are being hold on the server only for certain amount of days....is been now almost 10 days since the device is OFF...will the messages still be delivered?

    Ohhh I don't know. 10 days is a long period... but whatever you do, if you delete the message on your end, you will never know if it was delivered or read
