Please list the step you are taking, starting with, "Open up Desktop Manager." It will be easier for people to help you if we know the steps you are taking.

Have you tried updating your DM to a different version? There are many different versions available.

    Plug in BlackBerry.
    Open Desktop Manage.
    Choose "Application Loader".
Update Software. "No software update is required for your device."
Add / Remove Applications - No Spanish option here.

    Good call.

There are two BlackBerry programs that must be installed. You will have the BlackBerry Desktop Manger from your CD, but you also must have the Device OS Software package.

This link will connect you to the right software.

    From there, it is simple.

Got me, I should have opened a second window but I went off looking for the right link... it is there now.

That one is from Sprint and contains the Multilanguage package. I will offer you Spanish in addition to French and Brazilian Portuguese.

Don't worry about being a different carrier, they are all totaly interchangeable.

I must just be stupid. It still doesn't give me any kind of option to add an input language. What am I doing wrong?

Well, since you were sent to the Sprint version, and your carrier is not Sprint, there is an extra couple of steps. Navigate to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader on your pc. Delete vendor.xml in this folder. Now, make sure Desktop Manager is closed and in the folder above, launch loader.exe.

If you don't wish to do this, then you can download the proper muti-language os from your carrier and you'll be able to use DM. If you do this, make sure you uninstall the Sprint version from your pc first.
