homescreen icons by the date and time. i just want to be able to go to the sms or email folder and find it then having a notification on the homescreen.
they are making me show them because they do not want me talking to other people. mainly guys.yeah i put a profile and disabled led and vibrate or audible sound to new texts but it would just make everything better if it would just disable the visible one too. and is there a way to allow texts from someone people to be audible and some to have nothing all on the same profile?
I really don't think you disable the visual indicators. There could even be a theme that does that, but none that I know of.
And yes, you can go to the individual contact, then press edit and go to "custom ring tones/alerts, select messages, and then go through all the settings.
If you don't want audio from certain contacts you set that up through your profiles. If you want audio from certain contacts you set that up individually by editing your contacts.
