Since everyone thinks BlackBerry is out of business, today I told someone that my passport was a custom made phone. I mentioned that BlackBerry has custom built this phone to my specifications.

I'm going to keep trying this out just to amuse myself.

I can see potential for this train of thought. Since no one in the US thinks BlackBerry is in business you can say anything you want. Tell them it's only issued to CIA agents. It's James bond's phone. It was one version of the presidential phone. Have fun with that.

Hilarious! I mean that. Have fun with a cool idea. Not to be a party pooper, but don't impersonate a member of the government or federal law enforcement. I only say this because if you impersonate one and the person you do it to happens to be a member of the government or federal law enforcement the punishment will be swift, certain, and severe. Even as a prank, you don't ever impersonate military, law enforcement, or physicians. It's not worth the risk.

I could probably get away telling people my Passport is the new iPhone 7. Most people don't even notice the Blackberry logo in front of my phone that they keep having to ask me what brand is it?

Relax. It's like dressing up as a cop on halloween. Impersonation with intent to harm is where you get into trouble.

Good point. I'll just wear my FBI* T-shirt when I go. That will prove my identity.

Like I said, it depends who you're speaking to. Pretend to be an FBI agent while on a train next to an FBI agent. See if he thinks it's like Halloween.

When people say "what's that" and then go on with the typical BlackBerry trash, I tell them it wasn't made specifically for them. That usually sets them back. Like the they aren't included all of a sudden. Funny how people are. Lol

In the U.S., the Passport is exclusive enough. When I only used the black one, I could, without lying, say that it's not offered by U.S. carriers, and that it's only available online.

Now that I have my red Passport, even more people ask about it, and I tell them that it's a Limited Edition BlackBerry, because, well, it is.

There are enough mistruths about BlackBerry, I don't really like the idea of contributing to them, funny or not.
