    Sorry, no, 8310 doesn't have wifi. 8310-gps, 8320-wifi

    The hotspot is more than tethering: it allows ANY wifi capable device to connect without having a wired connection. For instance, a notebook, iPod Touch, and three other devices can connect sultaneously. Tethering limits the connection to one wired device.

    Sorry, she's referring to the hotspot browser which is an option in wifi blackberrys, it means you can browse without a data plan and makes the browser faster while on wifi.
