    You have to purchase the desktop program for $50 a year that's the only program that has the IMAP service otherwise you need to use it in the web mail.

    The nsa needs to get authorization from the government in that country. And protonmail is invite only it'll be months before that and lavaboom are released.

    I have a free Fastmail account from back when it was purchased by Opera. The email service is reliable and supports IMAP right out of the box. Heard a lot of good things about it even before that too

    If you want an email service, you can do a lot worse than fastmail

    Swissmail may have the security but it's UI is painfully outdated and slow not to mention offers very little mailbox storage. It looks like it was made in the 90s. At least hushmail has adopted a gmail like interface and has lots of storage. If your not doing anything illegal then hushmail should be perfectly fine.
