    Without blocking the slider mechanism? Will there be a curved glass screen protector?

    My 9000 always went naked in a holster, but my Zs are babied.

    Doesn't look like it would protect the screen. The cheap S-line cases I use on my phones wrap around the edges and elevate the screen when the phone is face down.

    I'm thinking I may have to. The reason I started to use a case is that these phones are bigger and more slippery than my beautiful leather backed 9000. I'm more likely to drop them. The S-line cases are light with good grip.

    My phone is always in a holster. That's not the problem. The problem is answering it when it is out of the holster, or when trying to take a picture one handed. The phone is slippery without the case. Not like the 9000 with its leather back.

    The white back is very slippery on the Zs. Black not as bad.
    I often answer my phone with gloves on while sitting on my horse. An invitation for disaster!! :-).

    My BlackBerries all survive falls, even hard ones while running, etc. But at horse height, that would be way more impactful. I don't know how a perpetual case would work with the slider.

    Cases are stupid. Phones are beautiful pieces of technology and yet people insist on covering them up with ugly cases. It makes the phone bulkier and destroys the aesthetic of the device. My Z30 is completely naked and is still in great condition.

    I agree with you that cases are ugly but with the high cost of devices these days most people use them to keep their device in top shape free from scratches etc so they can have a higher resale value.

    Yip...... that's the only one for me. For my work, being without a case is product suicide. This one fits the bill.

    It would probably survive the fall, but not getting stepped on by the horse behind me LOL.
    Again, I would be OK if they weren't so big and slippery. I have small hands.
