    hi i recently locts my blackberry and i just use it for personal use and i dont have it connected to a enterprise since im s student and i was wondering if there was any other way to wipe all data on the blackberry withoout being connect your work server? Thanks for the reply

    Unless you had software installed on it perform that function
    the answer is no.

    You should however give your carrier a call, report the phone
    lost, ask them to look up your PIN and IMEI and disable your
    phone so if it is found it cannot be used.

    if i give them my imei will they be able to wipe it so the people that have it cant go through my stuff

    I don't think so, but I could of course be wrong.
    I know it's late but this is exactly the reason why every phone
    that can be password protected should be.

    yeah i know but i just recently for the phone not too long ago and didnt get the chance to put it on there. but next time for sure there will be one and some other software to protect the phone.

    Good deal. But you should ask the remote wipe question to
    your carrier. Again, I am not 100% sure on that issue.

    alright i will try and ask the cust services tomorrow.
    the find it seems you be good only if you have a gps on your blackberry and from what i've seen most of the blackberries out now dont have any except for the bold since its the only one i can think of.
