The feature you are asking about is not available in OS 5. You would need to downgrade to an older OS in order to do that.

Yeah it is a bummer. I like having the wallpaper as the background on all the screens.

I can be done... sort of. It's theme controlled. So if you created a custom theme you could insert your wallpaper into it.
Is there any chance that I could do (I'm not that skileld for that kind of things) a default OS5 theme with OS6 icons and that wallpaper feature?
Yes, its quite easy actually. Download the theme studio and create a new theme (zen) and then grab one of the OS 6 icon packs from the theme developer forums (couple of free packs there). To replace the icons, just click the old icon and pick the new one. Then for the wallpaper youll see the background for the call screen and applications screen and just replace that with your wallpaper.
