I own a blackberry curve 8320 for t mobile. I have no data service because the account holder refuses to pay for it on the plan. I know that with wifi i'll be able to use logicmail because it doesn't require a Data Plan, am I right?

I wish to know how to use logicmail and set up accounts so I would be able to check my mail.

    LogicMail for BlackBerry

I have reviewed the Setup and FAQ, but I don't see any references to using it over Wifi. Most applications will require BIS to function.

There is a very good alternate. Google Gmail and iGoogle work very well through the Hotspot Browser. I used that myself before I got BIS.

In the features, it states "Wi-Fi TCP/IP Support"
