i dont get the idea do we Download the GPS or its already there

and wich kind do we use??

The GPS function is carrier and device dependent. If you have an 8x30 Verizon device, your software choices will be very limited. The only GPS software that comes on most BlackBerry devices is BBMaps. The exception to that is AT&T. They don't include BBMaps.

I ran into this dilemma last week. I called Sprint CS prior to "downloading" or activating TeleNav for the first time. The wife and I have unlimited data plan and was told that we were okay. FWIW, I thought that TeleNav and Google Maps were awesome; and are a good free source.
