Last week I got a blavkberry curve 9800. I love it... more than any oter phone I have had.. apart from one thing. My battery doesn't seem to last long at all.
Ive turned down the screen brightness, closed any applications that are running, and only have wifi on when I need it. Also I don't have bluetooth running. For example I charged it on monday night, over night, turned it off while asleep and already its got to just under 3/4 full. Is tere anything else I can do to conserve it? I don't want to keep charging it as thats how the battery on my last phone (nokia 6500 slide) lasted so little time.
You can't overcharge your BlackBerry, so don't worry about recharging it frequently. I can't think of anything else beyond what you've done to conserve battery power. You might check into an extended battery. The CrackBerry store carries a few models.

If the battery only went down 1/4 of the way in a day, thats not bad at all... I charge mine every night. At the end of the day I'm somewhere between 65%-40%.. So I never even think twice about my battery. Even if I make a lot of calls, my phone is never below 40% at the end of the day..
