The LED light annoyed the crap out of me, so I edited all my profiles to turn it off on everything. So whenever it makes an alert, provided I'm not in the middle of something important and that I actually hear it. Otherwise, it just stays in its holster unless I'm bored and reading a little to wind down before bed.

im always checking my blackberry to see if the red light blanking and for my twitter status im always getting emails so its a addiction really.. its true once you go blackberry your already have a addiction
I guess I'm an addict because I don't know what to do with myself if I'm out and about and I don't have my phone. I notice that at every stoplight or in traffic I'll be on my phone (i know not safe.. shhh)
Oh no, I hope we don't ever drive in the same town together. Neither of us would be paying attention o.O
Only check my Berry when it has an alert or the phone rings, and only then, if I'm not doing something else. That's the main reason for voice mail, txt and email, to answer them when you decide you have time to do so. What did we ever do before caller ID?
Even the special alerts I have for "important" contacts, have to wait until I can answer their pages or calls. In all the years that I have owned a cell know, only twice have I had to interrupt a call I was on to take another call, and that was after letting the first caller (A) know, that if (B) called while we were talking I had to take the call.
Now I will admit, the first couple of months of having unlimited txt messaging I had a blast, checking every alert, txt, and email that blinked or tinkled, but now I just answer them when I can.
