Kinda wanted to see what the rest of the world spends on their phone. I'm in Waterloo, Canada and my bill is $90 a month for Unlimited Talk and Txt(long distance) , and 1gb of data. I also get call waiting, call display and voice-mail. That's pretty much it and I think it's ridiculously expensive! Oh yeah I'm with Telus.

I'd really like to hear from people overseas cause I heard Canada has the most expensive plans in the world.

OP, that's way too much! I'm on a Business plan with Rogers. $60/month for unlimited NA anytime calling, 3 gb data, visual voice mail, unlimited texting. See if you can negotiate something better?

I use to pay $129 - $400 a month on Telus. Then I switched to Koodo & now I pay $55 a month
I get unlimited local & LD in Canada.

I no longer have LD to the US but for the I can use a calling card.

Previously I was on Cricket. Unlimited everything for $60. Went with them because they were the only ones including unlimited calling and texting to Canada at the time.
Then in Canada I was on Wind Mobile. Bill was $42 for unlimited everything. That included North America calling and texting. Was awesome.
Now in Simple Mobile. Costs range between $45-$75 depending on plan. That includes unlimited talk, text and 1 GB to unlimited, depending on plan. I'll stick with them until I've used up my 600 minutes of banked international long distance. Once done with that, I'll go with the T-Mobile $30 plan. That gets you unlimited talk and text in USA and about 5 GB of LTE data. Downside is only 100 minutes of talk. I'll have to rethink things when it comes to that point. At the moment, I always pay month to month and never sign a contract. If I find a better deal, that's where I go.

I want to go to Koodo also, it's cheaper for me to buy out my contract and save $25/month with Koodo till my 3 year is up, and get an extra gig of data. Only reason I haven't done it cause I need to get a new SIN card.

Ps I'll never go Rogers again, they've screwed me over one to many times, and Telus won't budge.

$60 with Telus, unlimited Canada calling and text with 5GB of data. I renewed my contract just before they eliminated plans for 3 years because it was the best plan I could find. I was worried that 2 year plans would mean higher monthly rates, and the Telus rep I spoke to at the time was pretty sure that that would be the case.

I'm on the AT&T prepaid smartphone plan for $60 which gives me unlimited minutes, text, and 2GB of data. I can buy more data if I need at $10/1GB. I'm thinking about going to Verizon though because although they have the same deal for $60 they also have a $70 plan for 4GB.

$43.81 a month with Fido. For calling, I get 450 weekday minutes (7am-6pm) and unlimited evenings/weekends. Unlimited text, picture and video messages from Canada to Canadian. 400MB data (if I go over, I pay $5 dollars for the next 250MB). Voice mail has a limit of 3 messages (upgradable for $7 extra). Call display (phone number only). And some additional services like circle calling, call waiting, conference call, and unlimited Canada-wide long distance. The only downside is the 400MB data limit.

My contract has 50 minutes and 1 GB Data included.

My monthly payments are around 16,50 ?.

If I want to upgrade to 3 GB it would be around 20,- ? more.
