Memory seems to be talked about a lot here. How come everyone doesn't just get the 8 Gig card, I think it was about $70. Doesn't seem like a big expense for someone who can afford a BB to begin with. Does it?
That does not solve evrerybodies problem. Memory card is for media only(Music, videos, ringtones, pics). You can't run 3rd party apps off of it.

If you have not optimized your memory, check out the link on my signature.
Those memory steps are to complicated IMO. Not the first steps but the ones where you have to use your computer.

You don't have to do them all - specially the ones you're not comfortable with. Just make the the setting changes on your device and free up a few mb of memory and you'll be fine until you get more comfortable.

Not really that hard. Just moving files in Explorer, but have you checked out CrackMem? Pete6 made the memory optimization much easier for the average user.

Just divide by a million = 14 MB. Decent, but you can probably improve it by the Stoner Procedure.

I think most of us had to upgrade our operating software for our BB's to recognize and use the 8gb cards. Otherwise, you need to use the 4gb cards -- but 4gb is a lot of room.

I run around 40 on average with about 7 apps, 3 themes, and 2 games installed. After a battery pull its around 48. I really can't complain.

I went to MEDIA and clicked EXPLORE. I then went to Device Memory. Then Samples. What is all that stuff? Where do you see it? I see under CONTACTS (bluedress, bluesuit, bluesweatshirt...) what is that stuff?I had stuff under most all sample folders. Do you need that stuff, if you delete it will stuff stop working on your BB?
