Second tier, carrier supported Android devices will benefit next. It just seems with 5G around the corner that BBMo/TCL sees the opening to play nicely with carriers and benefit from possible second tier OEM reshuffling. It happened before and I think it was plan until recently with TCL national counterparts.
AT&T or Verizon, doesn’t matter. It seems that BIS will be supported until bitter end but I don’t expect either carrier to pay BB to extend beyond 12/31/2019. Forget T-Mobile/Sprint doing anything to rock the boat. Both carriers are too busy with their proposed merger succeeding.
I’m curious if some of these new BB Secure announcements like CAT phone will result in some different PKB hardware you desire in an even more expensive niche form that you might be willing to pay for.
