I've thought about that too. The issue I think would come from that is that now your contact knows how to add you even if you delete them. Also I dont want emails from x-bbm contacts reading "you accidentally disappeared from my contact list, whats your pin again?"

I know few people here that do know their pin. I prefer to dictate it rather than memorizing my pin.

I have the barcode for my pin stored as a graphic on my phone. The filename is the pin, if I really want to know it I can look it up. No need to memorize it.

Recently, I've begun hopping from device to device rather quickly. (It's damn easy with BB Protect and an SD card.) In just like 90 days, I went 9800 > 9800 > 9550 > 9810 > 9810 > 9930. However, there are a few old PINs I remember. I wish I had kept better track, actually. Might be neat to see who ended up with my older devices. I bet my 8900 is still alive and kicking. Same for my last 9800. And, even on warranty swaps, I'd imagine that the PIN is still the same, even after a refurb process.

I might not have my PIN memorized, but I know where to find it. That's something, I guess.

Besides, I never use BBM so I haven't had much need for it.
