I've owned 10 BBs since October 2007 - which is 29 months. Only one of these changes was by choice - an upgrade from Bold 9000 to 9700. The others have been bricked, dropped, or just stopped working properly. Most cases are probably because I don't stop installing apps, handling, carrying, or otherwise messing with the phone. It's always with me and it's always being used. I'm sure this increases the case of possible issues.

I know, I have issues. But how many phones have you gone through in what amount of time?

5 total 2-8310's 2-9000's and 1-9700. Problems causing replacement were both trackball related. This is since 2007. Not bad luck I guess. Loving the 9700 so far. Both berries went to family and friends to share the wealth. LOL

So far just a 8130 and a 9630. I had the 8130 for close to 2-2.5 years and it was slowly dying, so I bought the 9630 outright. This way I could use my upgrade on the 9650 whenever it may come out.

I got my first one sometime in 2007, which was the 8100. Then proceeded to get an unlocked 9000 at the end of 2008. I messed it up during the summer of 2009 and used my Tmo upgrade to get the 8900 which I dropped in the toilet by accident last week. Went through insurance and got the new 9700 for $130

I just opened my night table drawer, there's a pink curve (kids), 2 regular curves, a storm and my 9000 sleeping inside.

Bought my current (and only) 8330 in mid Dec 2009 and still have it. When I have a few extra $$$ to throw down I will upgrade to a tour, but this one suits my needs just fine ATM.

One Curve 8330, Lasted a Week.
Two Storms, One lasted about two months, the other about six months.
    One&Currently, Curve 2 8530.

I purchased my first Blackberry the month the Storm One was released, that's why my 8330 didn't last long.
