Anyone else disappointed with the amount of app memory on the BOLD?
Currently running 5.0.0.238 @37.2MB of free memory with Myspace, BBM, Poynt, and GMail installed. Is this about average?
Any tips on how to maximize free memory would be useful. Find myself having to restart at least daily when phones starts to lag.

Any details on the 9700 out yet?

37mb is great. curve avg is 19-20. If you are lagging then it might be possible you are not closing the apps properly (menu>close). If you just hit the end or return button then it keeps app open and causes lag. You can find out what apps are running by pressin alt_return, there should be 5 apps goin at all times...BBM,browser,home,phone and messages. ll of this info can be found in the Crackberry 101 lectures

yeah, thats really good. Dont stress it, just make sure you pull every week or every other weeek.

You can do an occasional memory clean and delete old texts and emails.

    THANKS!
I guess I'm just being anal. Can't stop comparing it to the new curves, tour, and 9700 with double the memory.

Not me. Having come from a Curve 8320, I'm totally pleased with the ~37mb free that I have on my Bold.
