BB10 has a built-in Android 4.3 Runtime for running some Android apps.

You didn't understood me right. I need to install (flash) android 4.3 os onto BlackBerry Classic
    Will BlackBerry accept that?

Brookie already answered that one. I was providing additional info to be sure you understood.

BB10 devices will only accept OS builds that are digitally signed by BB, so while the hardware technically could have run older versions of Android, BB would have had to created the build - which they have no interest or intention of ever doing.

BB devices have always been a poor choice for anyone wanting to install non-standard OS builds.

Why would you buy an ancient BB10 device if all you wanted to do was run Android?

You can buy a new Android device for as low as $50 - and quite a decent one for $135 (like a Moto G7 Play).

Well, some have expressed desire to have Android on a Classic/Q10 type of device. Also, why are you guys still harping on the OP? He/she quickly conceded after the question was addressed. Is there any need to pile on?

May i ask a dumb question? - whatfore is the preinstalled "app" "Android 4.3" on the Classic?
BB 10 devices are all limited to android 4.3 - so whatfore can i use this "app" ?

it's not an app, it's a runtime, or Android emulator if you want to call it that. It's built into the OS. blackberry couldn't just update it at will though; if memory serves, Google wouldn't allow them to update it past 4.3.

it's impossible to make the phone be more or do more than what it already is.

Ok - but, still i don't understand this runtime - because BB 10 allready has this runtime? - at least 10.3

The ability to run some apps designed for Android 4.3 and earlier is built into BB10.

You need not worry about the mechanism by which it happens, because nothing is required of the user to make it function.

But if you're simply curious, BB10 provides a virtual machine Android environment within which said apps can operate.
