How do you "clean" your Berry???

Hello all,

Looking for advice on how you folks clean your phones of dirt, fingerprints, grease etc?

Once in a while I will spray a hint of eye glass cleaner and then wipe with a cloth.

The issue I might have is I may have damaged my phone. I had a Q10 and it appeared my microphone or the component that transmits my voice to the other end was damaged. This was a warranty claim a few years back.

Fast forward to now and I might have a similar problem with my Classic. I have people telling me I am cutting in and out during a conversation. Is there anyway I can test this? My current phone is only a month old.

Just some advice if possible please. Thanks!

Never spray any liquid onto the phone. It's bound to seep into the mic, speaker etc.

Spray sparingly onto the cloth first and then use the cloth on the phone.

Exactly what I do I spray a touch of LCD screen cleaner on a microfiber cloth always has worked fine .

Alcohol wipes for cleaning computer screens. Some of that slime looking stuff in the plastic can to degunk the nooks and crannies.

Couple years ago my mom almost killed her PlayBook by spraying windex directly on it. Two days later, whatever she saturated dried out and it worked again. Now she follows the rules. No spray anything on electronics. Spray cloth only.

What I do is just give it a nice wipe down with my towel after a shower. I find its damp enough to do the job nicely without worrying about too much moisture, and the thickness of the towel has just enough 'scrub' to it to get in most tight spots.

Same way I clean my glasses.
Fog the screen by breathing on it(added benefit of proving I'm still alive).
Polish with microfibre cloth.

Just don't like it with your tongue like iPhone users.

I just take it apart and clean it with a micro fiber clothe and alcohol, if you want a real deep clean lol

Just a soft microfibre cloth daily. It stops excess finger print build up. On the occasions I need a more thorough clean I will put a bit of glass cleaner on the microfibre and then wipe the device down.

I clean my passport with pre prepared pads for laptops. Theya contain mild detergent and are alcohol free. Sometimes I use a thin paper' edge to clean the ridges of the keyboard. But don't ever use spray. If u are using alcohol swipes than make sure the alcohol percentage is low, or it will damage the plastic.
