I use my 9930 hotspot to browse appwold on my playbook,update my ps3 and web browse utube.

My hotspot isn't very consistent. It goes on and off a lot and when I'm using it with playbook (without bridge) sometimes, it doesn't last long enough to do anything productive.

Question guys.

If I use the mobile hotspot feature on my phone to transfer a file between 2 playbooks connected to said phone. Does it use any mobile data? I,m hopeing it's like a router.
I could test this myself but a simple movie transfer at the cottage could cost me $30.00

No it doesn't use any mobile data 'cause it's not downloading anything, I use it all the time to control my laptop over RDP from my bedroom
