When I'm at home and connected to WiFi on my Sprint Blackberry 8530, it still uses 3G data. I would like my device to ALWAYS prefer WiFi if available. I already tried going to Manage Connections > Mobile Network Options, but there's no choice to change my preferred network.

This seems like a very basic configuration setting, surely there's a way to set it this way? If I disable my mobile network I get lightning fast WiFi performance.

If I aint wrong, go to browser>menu>option>broser configuration>set it to hotspot broswer
Then go back>general properties>and set it to hotspot broswer..
Do reply and tell us if the problem is fixed

I set it to Hotspot Browser, saved, then set it to Blackberry Browser. Pages to seem to be loading over WiFi currently. I'll try it again when i get home from work. Thanks!

thanks for that! i thought i always had to set it to hotspot browser everytime i got home, but this seems to default to wifi first and if its unavailable it goes to 3g
