I recently got the BB curve 8530 and notice that I keep getting random data charges of .001MB and things similar to that, and i am wondering if their is a way to prevent this?
You have a data plan, right? Such usage should be included in it. The BB is continually connected to the network and will send and receive data as it sees fit unless you totally disable your data, but then you won't receive email, MMS, BBm, or any data at all...
You can't use a BB without a data plan at least with Verizon and Sprint. There is an unlimited data plan on Verizon for 29.99 they also have the tiered plans now and if you go over them, will be charged.
