    Hi all.

    I have dowloaded a new ringtone from this site for my Blackberry Curve 8900 but actually think it would be better as a message alert tone. Is it possible to change the message alert from the standard alerts that are already on the phone and if so does anyone know how to do this?

    Profiles > Advanced > Active Profile > SMS Text > Ring Tone

    Hi Thanks for your reply, I forgot to add what Blackberry I have. Mine is the Curve 8900, will this work with that?

    As far as I know, yes. The profiles thing is pretty much universal with all Blackberrys.
