I am new to this forum and BlackBerries. My VP wants me to set up his email so that it doesn't push to the device. Rather he wants to be able to request the email at his convenience. He has the 8830 WE on Verizon. Is this possible? I can't seem to find anything on the subject.

The only possible way would be for you to install the Gmail app and have him run that at his will instead of adding the email account to the BB itself.

Could just disable the notifications on the email so it doesn't interrupt, but it will still be there when needed.
